Having the right information about symptoms that our body gives us is very important in early detection of some more serious issues. Many women experience some situations and symptoms and are not even aware of what they actually mean.

Ignoring some symptoms can lead to a very progressive cancer stage and reduce the chance of proper healing. If you notice some irregularities consult your doctor immediately.

  1. Vaginal Discharge

Women usually know the difference between vaginal discharges and if you notice something strange and irregular happening for a longer time consult a doctor.

  1. Leg Pain

This may be a very general symptom and you may not connect it with this problem but pain in the legs can mean obstructed blood flow and thus pain and swelling can occur.

  1. Unusual Bleeding

Persistent and irregular bleeding at the wrong time can mean something else is happening and you should visit your Ob/Gyn immediately.

  1. Discomfort While Urinating

Any discomfort while urinating is a bad sign. It can manifest as burning, itching, stinging and a tight sensation.

  1. Irregular Urination

Not being able to control urination can be a sign of cervical cancer and if it is accompanied with blood in the urine you should visit the doctor immediately.

  1. Irregular Menstrual Cycle

Some small irregularities of the menstrual cycles are normal and happen sue to stress and climate change. But bigger changes that are persistent can mean other things and indicate to a bigger cancer risk.

  1. Painful Pelvis

Other pelvic pain other than the normal cramps one, is a bad sign and should be screened and checked immediately.

  1. Uncomfortable Sex

When this happens you will definitely notice the difference and when that happens check with you doctor if it is due to increased cervical cancer risk.

  1. Back Pain

Back pain can sometimes be associated with cervical cancer. If you notice any of these symptoms go to the doctor’s office to make sure what your conditions really is.
