Having put alkaline than acidic diet is much recommended since according to Raw Food Health, the human body naturally maintains a slightly alkaline pH of 7:35, but several factors like stress and poor diet can lead to an acidic pH change, encouraging the emergence of various diseases. If you fix the pattern you can improve your health.
Applying anti-cancer diet, with raids by a variety of processed foods, microwavable foods, convenience food products, snacks, fast foods and packaged foods is difficult to do. In addition, some foods above are definitely not recommended for everyone who is battling cancer.
So what should be done by people with cancer?
They are encouraged to draw up four dietary changes as described below:
Alkaline diet can reduce inflammation and increase intracellular pH
Western world’s diets basically increase intracellular pH, simultaneously increasing the risk of inflammation. This is what called latent acidosis or ideal environment for the growth of cancer cells.
If you managed to implement a good alkaline diet, you will increase intracellular pH slowly thus protect your body from inflammation.
Alkaline diet can be achieved by consuming a variety of greens, herbs, root vegetables, nuts, and seeds. You can also consume organic poultry meat, organic beef, and fresh fish.
To balance the intake of vitamins and minerals, you can add fruit.
The sugar is used by cancer cells to thrive because the sugar metabolism creates an acid form which led to the division of cancer cells. You should be aware of the effect of insulin reaction to the risk of cancer.
In limiting sugar, you should also apply to the natural sugar sources such as fruits that are rich in glucose and honey. You should be very wary of fructose syrup because it contains cancer promoting toxic mercury.
Get rid of the gluten
Getting rid of the gluten contained in wheat, rye, and other grains is highly recommended. Gluten can support inflammation, which in turn will trigger the proliferation of cancer. You should prevent yourself to buy “gluten-free” products because they usually contain the excess glucose as well as refined oil.
Prof. (Emeritus) T. Colin Campbell, PhD, of Cornell University, has found that cow milk can promote cancer. This is caused by casein protein content in milk. Some foods to avoid are cheese, plain milk, yogurt, and milk with added whey powder.
Every cancer patient should get rid of the milk because it increases acid production, which in turn will encourage the development of cancer cells.
