Detox Baths for the Body
A detox bath can help the body by not only detoxing it, but by also clearing the mind. There are many different types of detox baths an individual can take, each one honing in on a specific way to detox the body. Try any one of these detox baths to feel invigorated and cleansed.
A sea salt detox bath is essential for the body when it needs to relax. This is a simple detox bath that can be done. The salt used will pull out toxins in the body.
Simply fill a tub with hot water, add a cup of sea salt and soak until the water becomes cool. This bath was designed to make a person sweat, so it can be beneficial to drink plenty of water before and after the bath.
Hydrogen peroxide can also be used in the bath to detox the body. Simple and effective, this detox bath is full of healing. Toxins are pulled out of the body, while giving the body anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Fill the tub with hot water and then add three pints of hydrogen peroxide.
Two ounces of ground ginger should also be added to promote sweat toxin elimination. Plenty of water should be drank before and after the bath. Soak for at least half an hour.
Baking soda is a great material to use in the bath tub for a detox bath. Baking soda helps to reduce stress in the body. Fill the tub with hot water, add a cup or more of baking soda, and relax while the toxins leave the body.
Epsom salts can also be used as a way to detox. Fill a tub with hot water, add 2 cups of Epsom salts that have been mixed with 5 drops lavender oil. Soak for at least 20 minutes. If the water used is not filtered, add one cup of baking soda to neutralize chemicals in the water.
