These Cosmetic Companies Support Animal Testing! Avoid Them!

May 30, 2016

Avon Products Inc. declared that they will no longer test their products on animals. After this announcement a press publication was released saying that with this act of promoting animal prosperity Avon confirms the safety philosophy. They continue to show off the cosmetic company for this end of animal testing products. These Cosmetic Companies Support Animal Testing! Avoid Them! What comes next is the fact that they will continue the testing only for products with special use like anti-pigmentation or whitening products, breast beautifying products, sunscreens, hair growth products and deodorants.

They did not want to lose several trading markets like China and the reason because of the animal testing is the fact that these countries want prove that the product can be use on people.
A cosmetic company which sells luxury products not essential ones is worth of disbelief.

As written in Beagle Freedom Project these companies which do the testing on animals do not say it publicly, instead they try to trick you by saying that they care for the animals, the environment is convenient and they are very charitable.
They claim that the animal testing is used only in one percent of the products and it is conduct when the law requires for it.

Avon sells their products in small number of countries which require animal testing. Those companies which do not test never sell their products in these countries for profit.

The profit is on the highest list for Avon and they cannot deceive us since all they want is to be good with several countries.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) says that Estee Lauder uses the law of certain countries in order to make the animal testing which is only an excuse.

Mary Kay Cosmetics are dishonest as well saying they do not do the testing, a white lie since they conduct it in China not in their country.

Brands which do the animal testing are listed down below:

  • Head & Shoulders
  • Bobbi Brown
  • Mary Kay
  • Estée Lauder
  • Avon
  • Covergirl
  • L’Oréal
  • A.C. Cosmetics
  • Revlon
  • Maybelline
  • Pantene
  • TRESemmé
  • stila

Why is animal testing still used?

This method is old fashioned and can be replaced by many modern methods like in vitro processes but governments do not like this because they are on the side of major companies.

Non-profit institute has teaching classes, webinars and many workshops in order to teach the companies how to stop using the animal testing. Over 1000 companies use this method and are not complaining it is too expensive like the major companies.

These companies are:

  • PureOlogy
  • Nature’s Gate
  • Arbonne
  • Seventh Generation
  • Botanica
  • Alba
  • Almay
  • Planet
  • Wet N Wild
  • Natura Essential

Do not spend your money on products whose company tries to trick you. Many others companies tried the mothod without hurting any animal so they can do the same. Support them.
