The obstruction of nasal breathing can be of great discomfort and the main causes are: allergies, cold and even changes in weather. The medicine seems like the easier choice, though there are other relieving methods.
Trick #1: Use Your Tongue & Press Between Eyebrows
Acupressure has very effective method of removing the fluid out of the nasal cavity. We can clear the nose by putting pressure on number of body points releasing the mucus. One of the most important is in our mouth.
The sinus problems can be solved by pressing the tongue against the roof of the mouth and at the same time pushing the finger between the eyebrows.
This pose must be hold for 20 seconds in order to feel relief. If you remove the tongue and the finger from the pressing points you can feel soft movement on the back of the throat. As an alternative you can vary between the pressure points.
Trick #2: Apply Pressure Across Your Eyebrows
When the sinuses get higher into the forehead, try another pressure point for releasing the nose and upper sinuses. By moving across the eyebrows you can urge the flow of the fluid.
First, grab your eyebrows with your fingers in the beginning section from both sides, then bend forward so that your head can have support on the elbows.
Next, wait for a few seconds and place your fingers to the middle section of your eyebrows where you make the second hold. Once you feel the pressure lighter, move your fingers to the tail of the brow. It is recommended a durable pressure or making circles with the fingertips for more effective way of releasing the forehead pain.
Trick #3: Take a Second for a Mini-Massage
The magic of the massage has been confirmed to be beneficial for the whole body so why not for this sinus problem? With just a tiny massage you can tell the difference.
Push your fingers across the notch of the collarbone in a repeated motion so that the fluid goes down. If it is not comfortable, try crossing your hands making V shape and using the same massaging method on the sides of your neck.
Keep Your Sinuses Moving!
Turning to the medicine cabinet is not always a great choice. Once you overcome the methods with the proper movements and usage of the tongue, sinus blockage can’t harm you.
