Homemade Ginger Ale to 8 servings
• 4 cups of water
• 2 cups of fresh ginger slices (you should grate the ginger to produce a sharper taste)
• 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons of honey (you can also use xylitol, organic coconut sugar, stevia and yacon)
• Mineral water/soda
How to make:
Combine water and ginger in a saucepan of boiling water. After boiling, set a lower heat and simmer until 1 hour. After 1 hour, cool the potion and add honey and lemon. To get a fresh ginger ale, add a few ice cubes into a glass and add ¼ cup of ginger syrup and mineral water/soda. Now your homemade ginger is ready!
