Healthy Desserts for the summer
Summer heat is often acting bad on our appetite, so we feel the need for refreshing drinks or ice cream etc…
From a variety of juices, soft drinks and ice cream we’re not only getting plenty of unnecessary sugar and chemicals, but also risk from lack of nutrients that the body need for normal functioning.
So various nutritious smoothies are ideal for refreshment during the summer heat.
Algae chlorella is fantastic for body detoxification. It is known for its positive effects on health because it contains a natural antibiotic substances and protects against bacterial infection.
Avocado SmoothieÂ I
– 1 avocado
– 1 teaspoon of algae chlorella
– 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
– 1 oz of apple juice
– some apple slices
Remove the kernel from the avocado and peel it. Place all of ingredients in a blender / food processor and mix it. Pour into a glass and garnish with apple slices.
Avocado Smoothie II
– handful of fresh baby spinach leaves
– 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
– 1 frehly squeezed lemon
– a little sea salt
– 1,5 dl water
This smoothie is excellent replacement for breakfast.
