Many individuals will use detox foot pads that are worn overnight to help rid the body of toxins. When the foot pads are removed, one will often see toxins that have seeped out of the body and into the pad.
These pads were first introduced in Japan. The pads are placed on the feet, as many have an inactive lifestyle that will cause circulation issues in the feet, lower legs and ankles. These pads placed on the feet will help circulation of the blood and lymph nodes in the torso.
Using detox foot pads will cause an individual to have fewer headaches, have joint pain relief and be less tired. One should consider detox foot pads if they suffer from constipation, gas, bloating, brain fog, bad breath, mood swings, digestive issues, poor skin tone, or stiff muscles.
While these food detox pads can be purchased at the store, they can also be homemade. To make a homemade detox food pad, you will need the following:
- – garlic
- – water
- – onion
- – self stick gauze pads
- – socks
Chop the garlic and the onion well into fine pieces. Place the water in a kettle and bring to a boil.
Add the onions and garlic, letting it boil for 10 minutes. Then let the water cool for 20 minutes, then pour into the center of the self stick gauze pad. Do not get too wet. If the pad gets too wet, simply squeeze out the excess. Place the self stick pad onto the bottoms of the feet, then cover the feet with socks.
Leave on overnight. In the morning, take the socks off and slowly peel off the self stick gauze pad. The pad will be brown in color. This alerts the person that toxins have been removed from the body.
