In a journal, statin is considered as a cause of cancer. The doctors have concluded that the spread of prostate cancer and breast cancer accelerated by statin. The cause is the use of statin increases the production of white blood cells of pathogen-fighting (T-cells), which in turn weakens the immune system, including to the cancer.

Notes about cholesterol
Increased consumption of statin due to the misconception that cholesterol is the sole cause of heart disease. Dr. Beverly Teter of the University of Maryland found that cholesterol is actually useful to minimize inflammation, rather than increasing the risk of heart disease. She claimed that the deposition of cholesterol in the vessel wall cannot be interpreted can lead to heart disease.

Dr. Teter said that inflammation is the cause of lesions in blood vessels and lesions are things that trigger heart disease. He suggested that people should increase the consumption of anti-inflammatory foods, in this case natural fats and fatty acids (omega-3) are highly recommended.
