Asthma can be very terrifying.  Even if you inhale a lot of air, you can still gasp for air.  It can make you feel like the lungs are collapsing.  However, asthma starts in the bronchial tubes.

Natural Asthma RemediesThis is the path in which oxygen uses to travel in and out of the lungs.  When these tubes are constricted, it is almost impossible to breath.  Chest tightness, wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath are often seen in those that suffer from asthma.  It affects people of any age but often starts in childhood.

There are puffers that one can use to make asthma better.  However, if they are not used properly and in the correct doses, these puffers can make the disease worse.  While they are clearing out the bronchial tubes, they are also polluting the lungs. Nearly half of all related asthma deaths in 2014 were due to prescription errors.

There are some remedies though that individuals can try if they suffer from asthma.  Keeping yourself away from your asthma triggers is essential.  Everyone will have a different kind of trigger.  These triggers may be pollution, smoke, pet dander, pollen and dust.  One should avoid areas that are high in pollution if they suffer from asthma attacks.

You can also change your eating patterns. There may be some foods that contribute to how you breathe.

You should remove highly processed foods from your diet, and increase the foods that will help with your respiratory system.  Good foods to include are those that have ginger and turmeric in them as these two spices are very high in anti-inflammatory properties.  They can also be added easily to any diet.

Moderate, regular exercise should also be used by persons that suffer from asthma. Exercise can help improve the respiratory system greatly.

Before using any of these remedies, it is advised to speak with your doctor.  This will enable you to find out which treatments are the best for you.
