A Natural Way to Get Soothe Knee Pain and Water in Your Knee

Knee pain is probably one of the most common things that happens to many people regardless of age and gender. There are a number of reasons as to why this pain occurs.

There is one common condition that causes water to accumulate in your knee. that happens because our joints are made of small fluids that are necessary in order to keep the knee functioning properly. The normal fluid is not noticeable but when you have excess water the knee area can swell up and cause a lot of pain.

This excess water in the knee can be very problematic and cause some health issues. It can cause pain that can range from mild to severe and in the worst case scenario it can disrupt the whole function of the knee and impair your walking and moving.

You need to remember that swelling in the knee does not always mean water. Knees can swell due to reasons like an injury to the ligaments, meniscus or tendons.

Luckily there is a natural treatment that can prevent this issue and treat it should it happen. You should always try these natural recipes but if your swelling does not decrease or you feel severe pain consult your doctor immediately.


  • 1 fresh egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon of salt


Batter the egg yolk with the salt thoroughly and apply this mixture on the afflicted area. Secure it with a transparent foil or any other clean bandage and leave it to work for 2 hours. If you need change the foil and make a fresh mixture again. For best results use this 3 times a day while you are watching TV or reading.

Other Tips:

  • Apply and ice pack to the afflicted knee for 1 minutes or as long as you can stand the cold.
  • Try elevating your leg while you are sleeping or lying just put 2 pillows under your knees.
  • Unhealthy habits like smoking, alcohol and a bad diet can improve or deter the situation. Try to change some of the lifestyle habits.
  • Exercise goes a long way in solving knee related issues.
