Menstruation is a normal thing for any woman, but this period is often painful. But we will not discuss how painful menstruation is because we will discuss how menstruation can tell us about our health.

According to Dr. Alisa Vitti, a nutrition counselor and holistic health expert, to check the color and flow, we can infer from a menstrual period. She formulated three kinds of color as follows:

• Mashed frozen blueberries
• Strawberry jam
• Cranberry juice

Frozen blueberries texture shows high estrogen levels that cause performance cycle heavier than it should be.

On the other hand, the texture like strawberry jam indicates low estrogen levels and delayed cycle.

The latter is a texture similar to cranberry juice and this is a perfect cycle which signifies health.

If you have blood spots then something is wrong and you should consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Stress can be caused by a hormonal imbalance between estrogen and progesterone that in some cases supported by dysfunctional ovaries, thyroid gland disorders, and birth control. Blood spots can also be caused by an infection that is one of the early signs of cervical cancer or ovarian cancer.

Menstrual cramps

Do you ever suffer from menstrual cramps? Cramps are usually called dysmenorrhea showing excessive levels of prostaglandins. This hormone triggers inflammation and pain. However cramps are natural and none of menstrual periods that do not cause pain.
