How to Prepare Fresh Homemade Cheese! (RECIPE)

If you are a cheese lover this is the right place for you. If you are sick of store bought cheese and want to experiment and make one of your own, we have the solution.

Homemade cheese is absolute extravagance and it is extremely beneficial and delicious. The process is often looked as very complicated but the truth is that it is quite easy and it can bring a god amount of cheese.

Before starting this cheese making process you need to get all of the ingredients ready. This is what you will need.


  • 1 liter of pasteurized milk
  • 45ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of cream
  • 100 cc of plain yoghurt
  • Pepper, oregano, salt (optional and to taste)


Mix the pasteurized milk with the lemon juice in order for the acid to transform the milk into lactic acid. After that add the milk into a bigger pot and bring it to a boil. after it does remove it from heat and cover the pot up and let it cool for about 20 minutes or so.

This is where you add the lemon juice, cream and yoghurt and leave it to sit for 10 minutes. After this put the pot back onto the stove only this time use medium heat and cook until you see that the ilk starts to cut. You will notice that by seeing lumps of the cream separating from the liquid like whey.

Finally add the spices and take out the extra serum and strain this whole mixture through a colander and gauze. Add other spices and fragrances in the end if you want since you can give your cheese the taste and flavor you want.

Once you strain the mixture you will get a fine paste that you can shape with your hands. Shape your cheese they way you like it and put it in a suitable plastic container. Keep it stored in the fridge for a day and after that your cheese is ready!
