A dentist’s job is to help a patient remove plaque from their teeth. But did you know that you can actually remove plaque at home without ever stepping foot into the office of a dentist?
There are a few home remedies that work very slick at removing plaque from the teeth. Plaque is the sticky stuff on the teeth where bacteria like to thrive.
For the first home remedy, an individual will need water and 30 grams of walnut husks. Place the walnut husks into a clean bowl, then pour fresh water over the top. Light the mixture on fire, leaving it burn for 15 minutes, under supervision of course.
After 15 minutes is up, place a toothbrush in the mixture, allowing the bristles to soak in the mixture. Brush the teeth for a good solid 5 minutes, performing the task three times per day, once in the morning, in the afternoon and again at night before bed.
Our next recipe calls for one cup of water, 4 tablespoons of sunflower seeds and 4 tablespoons of linden flower. Place all three ingredients into a clean bowl, then set the bowl on fire. Leave the mixture for half an hour, then soak a toothbrush in the mixture.
Use this solution to brush the teeth after every meal.
Our third, and final recipe, involves using Apple Cider vinegar. Apple Cider vinegar, or ACV, should be used once per week to help fight off plaque. Soak a toothbrush in apple cider vinegar, then brush the teeth like normal. Rinse the mouth with luke warm water after brushing to help protect the enamels of the teeth.
Following any one of these methods described above will allow an individual to help get rid of plaque on their teeth for once and for all.
