Eczema is a painful skin condition that is characterized by itching and dry skin. Eczema is formed when the skin barrier does not function in a proper way. When the skin is scratched, the eczema will often get worse. This can cause infections and make the condition spread.

Many times individuals will turn to steroid creams, but these do not work for everyone. Soaps and detergents that are used are often changed out, as these can make the skin condition worse.

Diet can also be changed to treat eczema, but not everyone will have luck with this. Often times many will have good luck with natural remedies to treat eczema.
One natural treatment that Lynn Hennessey found worked for her two year old daughter who had developed eczema was cod liver and oatmeal. Hennessey did her research on the internet, and had found an all natural remedy called Robertson’s eczema relief.

While Hennessey knew that both cod liver oil and oatmeal were great for inflammation, she was skeptical of trying the natural remedy. She stated that the before and after photos looked great, but with anyone using photo shop these days, they could have been fake. However reluctant she was, she gave in and decided to use the cream.
Within 3 weeks of using the cream on her daughter, she noticed the skin started to clear. Today her daughter is eczema free and she gives praise that the cream worked. The cream retails for $44.95. The main ingredients of the cream are cod liver oil and oatmeal. Fish oils have been used to treat individuals that suffer from skin conditions. They will help fight acne and make the skin look more youthful.

Fish oil will also help to absorb vitamins and minerals, which is needed when the skin is fighting eczema.

Oatmeal contains antioxidants that help skin that is inflamed from the skin condition, and will also help to naturally moisturize the skin and relieve itching.
