The Center for Disease, Control and Prevention warned about a health danger, a bug named Triatomine or said in a commonly known name the kissing bug. It is quite dangerous since it can kill a human too, according to CDC.
It might seem small and innocent to you, but it can transmit a parasite in your body called Trypanosoma cruzi. Once it is inside the body, the parasite can be deadly since it can produce the Chagas disease and approximately eight million people were affected.
This disease can provoke heart problems resulting fatally, with death. You will start to feel the symptoms after two months from the moment when you were affected, not immediately. The symptoms are very similar to those of a flu and it is quite difficult to differentiate. They include headaches, muscle pain, fever, enlarged lymph glands or not being able to breathe.
The swelling on the eyelids and the skin lesions are another symptoms the person experiences.
People diagnosed with the disease had problems with the digestive tract (10%) and others (30%) have cardiac problems.
No immunizations are found for this disease, but if it is detected early the treatment can be very effective.
In order to protect your family try to use insecticide spray in every corner of your house and keep the hygiene on a high level.
You should never rub the bite place since it can spread the disease by secreting in the bite and this infects the skin with the deadly parasite.
The only areas that are not at risk are the northern regions of US like New York State and New England.
